Jerry O'Riordan MVB CertSAS MRVCS

Jerry graduated from the University College Dublin. Immediately after graduation, he worked for a number of years in England concentrating on small animal work. He developed an interest in surgery working for a short period at the RSPCA Animal Hospital in Birmingham.

Jerry has worked in small animal surgical referrals in Ireland, England, Scotland, New Zealand and France. He obtained his Certificate in Small Animal Surgery whilst working at Fitzpatrick Referrals in the South of England and completed a Small Animal Surgical Residency at the University College Dublin Veterinary Hospital. Since then, he has worked at Maison Alfort Vet School in Paris and most recently at Glasgow University Small Animal Veterinary Hospital.

He has a keen interest in both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and his long period of time working in primary care clinics has given him a realistic understanding of the challenges surgeons face in practice. Jerry is intending to sit his ECVS exams in 2013.
